1/10/07 - The Brown Deer Village Board approved a resolution on January 8, 2007 to consolidate the three Village polling places into one common site to manage the February 20th Primary Election process, for the candidates for State Supreme Court, in a more effective and efficient manner.
Village residents living in all nine (9) wards can vote in the Primary Election at Brown Deer Village Hall, which is located at 4800 W. Green Brook Drive.
This consolidation is only in effect for the February 20th Spring Primary Election.
1/5/07 - The nomination paper process has closed for the upcoming Spring 2007 Election. Trustees Gary Springman and Jeff Baker have both submitted papers to run for re-election to the Village Board. Another current Trustee, Carl Krueger, has submitted nomination papers to run for the position of Village President.
There are three candidates for State Supreme Court, therefore a state wide primary will be necessary. The Primary Election will be held on Tuesday February 20th. The Village Board will consider consolidating the polling places into one location (Village Hall) for the spring primary at a special meeting scheduled for Monday January 8th at 6:30 p.m. at Village Hall. 12/18/06 - The following official announcements have been made regarding the Spring 2007 Election. Village President Margaret Jaberg has announced that she will not be running for re-election this Spring, however current Trustee Carl Krueger has announced his candidacy for the position of Village President. Additionally, Trustees Gary Springman and Jeff Baker have filed their nomination papers to run for re-election to the Village Board.
Nomination papers for the positions of Village Trustee and Village President must be turned into Village Hall on or before January 2, 2007. A Primary Election (if required) will be held on Tuesday February 20th. On Tuesday April 3rd, the Spring Election will be held for various positions including; Village President, two Village Trustee seats, Municipal Judge, and two School Board seats.
