OCTOBER 30, 2000 SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
HELD AT THE BROWN DEER VILLAGE HALL
4800 WEST GREEN BROOK DRIVE
The meeting was called to order by President Wolfgram at 6:30 P.M.
I. Roll Call
Present: Village President Wolfgram, Trustees: Krueger, Kundinger, Moranski, Nealy, Schilz, Schneider
Also Present: Russell Van Gompel, Village Manager; Todd Schmidt, Assistant Village Manager; William Dineen, Village Attorney; Ginny Goode, Park and Recreation Director
II. Review of 2001 Budget
Mr. Van Gompel reviewed the recommended 2001 budget. He discussed the proposed levies for each fund, and detailed the projected 2001 revenues. Budget review sessions were set for Thursday, November 9, Tuesday, November 14, and Thursday, November 16, at 6:30 P.M.
III. Recess into Closed Session pursuant to ' 19.85(1)(g) Wisconsin Statutes for the following reasons:
g) Conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to be become involved.
It was moved by Trustee Schneider and seconded by Trustee Moranski to recess into closed session pursuant to ' 19.85(1)(g) Wisconsin Statutes for the reasons stated in the agenda at 7:30 P.M. The motion carried unanimously.
IV. Reconvene into Open Session for possible action on Closed Session deliberations
It was moved by Trustee Nealy and seconded by Trustee Moranski to reconvene into open session for possible action on closed session deliberations at 11:50 P.M. The motion carried unanimously.
V. Adjournment
It was moved by Trustee Schilz and seconded by Trustee Nealy to adjourn at 11:51 P.M. The motion carried unanimously.
