The meeting was called to order by President Jaberg at 6:32 P.M.

I. Roll Call

Present: Village President Jaberg, Trustees: Askew, Baker, Krueger (6:35 p.m.), Kundinger, Nealy (7:10 p.m.), Schilz

Excused: None.

Also Present: Russell Van Gompel, Village Manager; Andy Pederson, Assistant Village Manager/Community Services Director; Steven Rinzel, Police Chief; John Graeber, Police Captain; Shawn Noel, Police Captain; Dana Weber, Deputy Treasurer/Comptroller; Ginny Goode, Park and Recreation Director; Chad Hoier, Park and Recreation Superintendent; Susan Schneider, Finance & Public Works Committee Member (6:45 p.m.); Phil Kurtz, Finance & Public Works Committee Member

II. Budget Workshop of 2004 Budget

Mr. Van Gompel reviewed the Park and Recreation budget.

Ms. Goode reviewed the 2004 proposed budget change impacts.

Mr. Van Gompel reviewed the Village Park and Pond Fund Special Revenue Fund.

Mr. Van Gompel reviewed the Park Recreation Program Special Revenue Fund.

Mr. Van Gompel reviewed significant changes within the Police Department budget.

Chief Rinzel reviewed the Police Department budget.

III. Recess Budget Workshop and Enter into Regular Village Board Meeting (7:30 p.m.)

IV. Budget Workshop of 2004 Budget (7:47 p.m.)

Mr. Van Gompel reviewed the Police Department Equipment Replacement fund.

Chief Rinzel reviewed specific items within the Police Department Equipment Replacement fund.

Mr. Van Gompel reviewed various General Government, Non-Departmental, and Other Public Safety budgets.

V. Adjournment

It was moved by Trustee Schilz and seconded by Trustee Krueger to adjourn at 8:50 P.M. The motion carried unanimously.
