Brown Deer Shooting

On November 10th, 2007, at approximately 7:45pm, the Brown Deer Police Department responded to a call of shots fired and a shooting victim at a residence in the 4600 block of West Woodale Avenue.  Officer responding did locate a victim, an 18 year old male, with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.  The victim is in critical condition at Children's Hospital.  Officers at the scene did determine that multiple gunshots were fired in the residence. The Police Department is working in coalition with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, the Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Wisconsin Crime Lab who are assisting in the collection and are assisting in processing the evidence at the scene. 

 

The Village of Brown Deer would like to ensure its citizens that the shooting which took place on the evening of Saturday, November 10th, 2007 was an isolated incident.  Brown Deer is a safe community. We would like to remind our citizens that the Brown Deer Police Department is working round the clock to solve this issue.
