August 10th "Hunting with Henry the Heron"
Nature in the Parks

Do you know kids that have trouble sitting still and being patient, or that are just too wiggly? In Hunting with Henry the Heron, kids find out they aren't the only ones with these problems.
Based on the book Henry the Impatient Heron by Donna Love, children will discover the importance of being patient while putting on a show and learning about life in a wetland. Participants will explore the theater process, work behind the scenes, and have fun because "the show must go on". Following the puppet show, there will be a variety of activities to allow children to think, grow, eat, walk, stalk, and squawk like a Great Blue Heron.
