Bicycle Unit

The Bicycle Unit has two members. Officer Brett Olig and Sergeant Nick Andersen.

The bikes are used for community events such as the Eat & Greet, Deer Run, and the 4th of July Celebration. 

Officers also take the bikes on routine patrol when staffing and weather permits. 

The bicycles are a great tool that allow officers to access areas that are inaccessible by a vehicle.  It also allows for easier interaction with citizens and provides them an opportunity to speak with the officers while they are patrolling the neighborhoods.
