Mobile Field Force

Mission

The North Shore Mobile Field Force team is a multijurisdictional civil disturbance team made up of officers from the Brown Deer Police Department, the Glendale Police Department, the Whitefish Bay Police Department, the Shorewood Police Department, the Bayside Police Department, the Fox Point Police Department and the River Hills Police Department.  

The unit is led by Lieutenant Joseph Hahn of the Brown Deer Police Department and is available for deployment regionally to situations where civil unrest is anticipated or is occurring.  The unit is equipped to maintain or regain order in these situations, by utilizing special equipment and trained crowd control tactics. 

The mission of the team is to protect life and property, while ensuring citizens’ First Amendment right to peacefully assemble.
