Senior Citizens Club
The Brown Deer Senior Citizens Club is a social organization for Brown Deer residents 55 years and older. Membership is also open to nonresidents. Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at the Lois and Tom Dolan Community Center at 4355 West Bradley Road. Activities include cards, health services, legislative activities, service programs, special events, and tour and travel. A monthly newsletter is mailed to all members. Annual dues are $12 for residents and $15 for nonresidents. Call the Park and Recreation Department at (414) 371-3070 for membership information.

September 5: Malissa Mularski talks genealogy Basics 101

September 19: Todd Pridgon entertains us with classic, uplifting songs from great singers, big bands, and films.  Additionally, Todd accompanies these marvelous songs with unique digital slides of the performers and films.  Todd’s goal with every audience is to bring great fun and great memories.

October 3: Wally Wahlberg will share his experience as a Korean War Veteran.

October 17: Move Day!

November 7: Kevin Klimek President of the Brown Deer School Board will share with us the current information in regard to the Brown Deer schools.

November 14: Gary Wisner, an award-winning vocalist, provides classic entertainment in the styles of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin, Perry Como, and other well-known singers.  He has performed thousands of shows throughout Southeast Wisconsin and beyond for over twenty-five years.

Brown Deer Senior Citizen Club History
With a rich history beginning in June of 1973, the Brown Deer Senior Citizens Club has operated under the Brown Deer Park and Recreation Department since its inception.  There were 118 charter members and 7 committees to join.  From league bowling to tour and travel along with a sunshine team to brighten your day, the club is still active in the Brown Deer community.  To read more in depth on our history, Click Here

Senior Exercise
Exercise classes designed for Senior Citizens, 55 years and older, are held from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. on weekday mornings at Trinity Community Church, 9450 N. 60th Street, in Fall, Winter and Spring. The Tuesday and Thursday classes include light conditioning, stretching, walking and health information. Participants may register for one or more classes each week.

Senior Meal Program
The Senior Meal Program is held at the Lois and Tom Dolan Community Center at 4355 West Bradley Road, at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays and election days. The program is open to senior citizens, 60 years of age and older, and spouses. Meal reservations must be made a minimum of one day in advance either in person or by telephone. Call the meal site at (414) 357-7002 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Otherwise feel free to contact the Park and recreation department at (414) 371-3070 for information.
